Common Transmission Industry Myths:

• You don't have to adjust the throttle (kick-down) cables on Chryslers and Dodge trucks.
• An alternator cannot affect a transmission.
• A battery cannot affect a transmission.
• Engine tune-up can't cause a transmission to shift incorrectly.
• All transmission fluids are the same.
• A transmission that shifts harder is better.
